Colfax, Oakesdale girls duel

Colfax and Oakesdale girls battled for points Tuesday in an all-B combo meet at Colfax. The Bulldogs took the point win with 105 points, just 5.5 ahead of the Panthers.

Asotin's girls finished just behind the Nighthawks with 95 points. The Panthers lost some of their normal point production to St. George's in the meet which drew 13 girls teams to the track.

Asotin finished strong on the boys side with 121 points, a 34-point margin over Colfax which finished with 87.

Other team scores for the girls were St. George's 90.5, Reardan 52, Pomeroy 51, Lind/Ritzville 45.5, Logos 40.5, Liberty 36, Waitsburg 34, St. John/Endicott 19, LaCrosse/Washtucna 16 and Tekoa/Rosalia 9.

Other team scores for the boys were Liberty 70, Reardan 69, Logos 62, Waitsburg 52, St. George's 44.5, Pomeroy 42, St. John,/Endicott 40.5, Lind/Ritzville 31, Tekoa/Rosalia 3 and Oakesdale 2.
