NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Board of Commissioners will conduct a closed record appeal hearing on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, Washington.
The purpose of the appeal hearing is to consider the denial of the Whitman County Planning Commission’s findings and recommendations for the rezoning of 22 acres located northeast of Pullman on the north side of Pullman Airport Road in the SW ¼ of Section 30, Township 15 N, Range 46 EWM from the Agricultural District to the Cluster Residential District.
Any interested individual may attend said hearing. No new testimony or documents are allowed to be considered by the County Commissioners. The applicant can make arguments based on the record that was presented to the Planning Commission.
Arrangements will be made to accommodate questions and provide responses to non-English speaking residents. Upon receiving 24 hours' advance notice, the County will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special groups of citizens, including those who are physically disabled or otherwise impaired. ORDINANCE NO. 355
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF Endicott, WASHINGTON,
amending Endicott Municipal Code §6.08.080, Subsection A, §6.08.115 and those portions of Ordinance Nos. 205, 210, 248 and 308 which are codified as parts thereof, thereby restricting the number of dogs per household to four dogs, and requiring the licensing of all dogs over the age of three months.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF Endicott AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Endicott Municipal Code §6.08.080, Subsection A, and those portions of Ordinance Nos. 205, 210, and 308 which are codified as part thereof, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"A. All dogs over the age of three months must be registered with a license issued by the Clerk-Treasurer."
Section 2. Endicott Municipal Code §6.08.115 and those portions of Ordinance Nos. 248 and 308 which are codified as part thereof, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"6.08.115 - Limitation on number of dogs per household. It shall be unlawful for any one person, persons, or any combination thereof in any one household, to harbor, possess, own, care for, or control more than four dogs provided, any kennel licensee holding a valid kennel
permit as of May 1, 2017, may continue to keep all dogs on the licensed premises as of that date until the number thereof is reduced by attrition to a maximum number of four dogs, but only so long as the licensee continuously maintains a valid kennel permit."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after it or a summary thereof, is published in the official newspaper of the Town of Endicott as required by law.
