LaCrosse students and faculty conducted a student of character assembly for March’s trait of pride.
Students and staff played a giant game of rock, paper, scissors, forming snakes made of winning and losing teams.
The new trait for April is integrity.
This was followed by announcing the students who had earned the March recognition.
They are kindergarten: Cady Blankenship; Mac I - Jack Baser, Brady Blankenship, Brianna Camp, Gracie Schwartz, Brody Fleming, Chase Harder, Cooper Schwartz; Mac II - Ty Pierson, Olivia McGregor, Theory Proctor; Ben Bailey, Avery Fleming, Chloe Waddell, Quincy Morris, Ellie Pierson, Emily Thompson; fifth grade - Julia Guske, Landen Miller; sixth grade - Lillian McGregor, Wyatt Schwartz; eighth grade - Zoe Bailey, Ty Harder, Mackenna Hardy, Aaron Fultz, Genevieve McGregor, Ashley Parker; ninth grade - Matea Enzweiler, TJ Harder, Lauren Stubbs; sophomores - Stephen Campbell, Madison Candler, Alynn Harder, Autumn Meyers, Jordanne Webb; juniors -Braden Miller, Mashayla Morris; seniors - Kelli Angstrom, Kaleb Ellis, Britte Harder, Nicole Harder, Abby McGregor, Terrell Webb.
Attitude and Effort awards went to students who attended the Science Olympiad in Spokane. Also all the students who attended the Whitman County speech, spelling and math contest were recognized. Fifth grader Matthew Thompson won the overall Whitman County interpretive speech for that grade.
Student-led spring conferences for grades 6-12 were Wednesday. Conferences for grade K-5 will be scheduled soon.
Child Find for children ages 3-5 years old interested in attending LaCrosse schools will be Monday, April 24, from 9-10:30 a.m. Call the school to make an appointment.
LaCrosse T-ball will be every Monday and Wednesday after school at the ball field until 4:15. Game schedule to be determined.
Senior Class Fundraiser: French dip dinner at the Gathering Place Sunday, April 23, from 4-7 p.m. for $8.
The Variety Slam is set for April 26 at 6:30 p.m. with all invited. This will take the place of a spring concert.
The next movie and game night will be April 28, from 7-9 p.m. The movie will be ‘Sing.’
