Port, county slate quarterly meeting

Commissioners from Whitman County and the Port of Whitman County will meet in a joint session next week at the Port building on Mill Street.

The two entities have been holding meetings together approximately four times a year to discuss matters of joint concern. At the last meeting in February, the commissioners discussed fiber optics legislation the Port was hoping to see passed.

Agenda items for next week's meeting have not yet been determined.
