Colfax survey underway

The City of Colfax street survey conducted by Parametrix Inc. began April 17 and will continue until May 12. The crew will survey between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

The survey is along Oak and Cedar streets, for which the City of Colfax was awarded a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) grant in November of 2016.

The first step in the work is analyzing the topography of the streets, including acquiring existing elevations of sidewalks, driveway aprons, natural ground, pavement, curbs, utilities and other physical features.
