Yoga class will
benefit Center
This month's Yoga for a Cause Tuesday, May 2, from 5:30-7 p.m. will benefit the restroom project in The Bettie Steiger Community Enrichment Center at Colfax Library. In lieu of class fees, donations will be accepted to benefit the project.
The class is ideal for beginners and experienced Yogi’s with the first hour consisting of a Vinyasa flow and the last half hour moving into a restorative/relaxation phase. Participants can stay for the entire class or use the break to come and go.
Fundraising for the restrooms has been ongoing for the past year and has reached $24,000 to complete the one restroom with $20,000 needed to complete the second one.
For more information about Yoga for a Cause, contact instructors Suzy McNeilly or Crystyn Guenthner via the library.
