Brady Chadwick threw his second no-hitter in two consecutive starts as Colton swept Touchet in a doubleheader Tuesday. Colton won 9-0 and 9-1.
Chadwick struck out 17 batters with no walks. Touchet's only two baserunners got on base on errors.
Chadwick last started against Garfield/Palouse, beginning a streak of 16 and one-third consecutive innings without allowing a hit.
Peter Schultheis, another senior, played catcher and also batted 3-for-4 in the game. Grant Kinzer, Reece Chadwick and Parker Druffel had two hits each.
Cameron Bean pitched the second game for Colton, allowing five hits with no walks and eight strikeouts. At bat, Bean went 3-for-4 with three RBIs while Brady Chadwick hit three doubles.
The Wildcats are now 10-3 overall, 4-1 in the Southeast 1B league.
Colton was set to play next on Wednesday at home vs. Orofino, followed by a key doubleheader with Pomeroy Saturday, also at home. The Wildcats will need to win both games to take the league title.
