Lone Pine work day

Lone Pine work day Members of Friends of the Lone Pine Cemetery met for a work day April 20 with help from students at Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle. In rain and cold wind, the group tore out brush at the site west of Tekoa and put it in piles to be burned at a later date. The cemetery operated from 1883 to 1953. The semi-annual work day followed the Friends' spring meeting at the Feeding Station in Tekoa.
