County qualifiers on to track regional

Track qualifications on the road to state started Tuesday in the NE sub-district round at Ritzville. The top eight finishers in the lane events and the top 12 in the 1600 and 3200 qualified for the regional round which will be May 19 and 20 at Central Valley. The top four finishers at the regional, which will bring in teams from the SE, will advance to the state meet May 25-26 at Eastern Washington University's Roos Field in Cheney.
