Palouse swim pool set to open soon

Palouse city pool will open June 17. The pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closing time is one hour earlier this year due to a shortage of lifeguards. Swim lesson sessions will be July 10-20 and July 24-Aug. 3. Call city hall to register. Private pool rentals cost $75 plus tax for 1.5 hours with lifeguards provided. The Palouse Pool is funded by a maintenance and operations levy.
