Palouse will sell flood sand

The City of Palouse is now accepting bids for a small stockpile of sand at 200 East Whitman Street in front of the Tony Kettel Skate Gardens site. The sand was stockpiled to use against a flooding threat early this spring.

Minimum bid will be $25. Sealed bids must include the name and phone number of the bidder.

A 7.8 percent sales tax will be added to all bids.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Palouse City Hall, P.O. box 248, 120 East Main Street, Palouse, WA 99161.
