Uniontown soon to issue bid call for sidewalk extensions

The Town of Uniontown will soon extend its sidewalk to the Dahmen Barn at one end and the Rolling Hills subdivision at the other.

“From city limits to city limits,” said Brent Lane, Public Works supervisor.

The Montgomery Street/Highway 195 sidewalk will extend north from Owen Street to the Dahmen Barn and south from Frank Street to the southern town limits.

The project will be funded by a $306,000 grant from Washington's Transportation Improvement Board and $60,000 from Palouse Regional Transportation Organization.
