Skate garden work days set

Organizers of the Tony Kettel Skate Gardens in Palouse will hold “Rain or Shine Work Days” on Wednesdays and Saturdays in May and June.

Sessions will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m. until noon Saturdays.

Tasks include light lifting, heavy lifting, raking, weeding, digging and loading. Participants are asked to bring work gloves and appropriate shoes and clothing.

Water and snacks will be provided at a volunteer station.

The project site is located directly above the Palouse Skate Park on Whitman Street.
