Quilts of Valor honor veterans

Quilts of Valor were presented on Saturday, May 27. The quilts were made by the Whitman Samplers Quilt Guild, with the exception of Karen Hensley's. Peggy Rodgers, center, is the guild chairman. Veterans given the quilts in appreciation for their military service, from the left, are Karen Hensley, Kenny Matelski, Alisha Matelski, Roy Lord and Adrian Wall. Also honored but not pictured was Ken McGreevy.
