Rosalia golden grads join parade

Rosalia High School 50-year graduates from the class of 1967 were aboard the town's 1937 Ford fire truck as they rode through the Battle Days parade on Saturday.

Steve VanDyke drove the antique truck.

Pictured from left to right are Chris Rohwer, Darryl Hartung, Max DeYoung and Frosty Freeze.

The top row riders are Barbara Widman Bothman, Mary Dawson Rattenbury, Gayle Parks Sander and Barbara Forgey Grigsby.

Other class members attending the reunion but missing the fire truck ride were Doug Curtis, Robert Terrell, Geraldine Dickenson Sandee, Forrest Riley, Bruce Cannon and Faye Trull Gonzales.

The class enjoyed an evening celebration at The Harvester Restaurant in Spangle with their former teachers Billie Jean Widman, Larry McKay and Gary Thomas attending.
