Traveling Lantern

Theatre tour set

Friends of Whitman County Library and The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company will present “The Ribbles Build a Residence” at various locations including the Tekoa Empire Theatre June 26 at 2 p.m., the Malden park at 6 p.m., the library in Colfax June 27 at 4 p.m. and the LaCrosse park June 28 at 10 a.m.

Traveling Lantern has been educating and entertaining youth all over the country since 1985. They bring stories to children while drawing them into an active theater experience. These engaging plays are created for audiences in the Pre-K through eighth grade age group and their families.

Barbecue class

set at Dahmen

Jollymore's of Lewiston will host a midsummer barbecue class at Dahmen Barn June 28.

They will demonstrate how to get the most out of a backyard barbecue, whether it be gas or charcoal. The Jollymores will bring a couple of regular backyard grills directly to the Dahmen Barn for demonstration.

Minimum number of students will be 15 and registration deadline is June 25.

Liguori, Joanna Hadassha, born June 14, to Douglas and Sarah Liguori, Uniontown. Paternal grandparent is Barbra Liguori, Yukon, Okla. Maternal grandparents are Ken and Rita Buck, Uniontown.

Colt, Walker, born June 15 at six pounds, nine ounces, to Kaylee Richmond and Seth Colt, Potlatch, Idaho. Baby joins brothers Jesse, 10, Aiden, 9, Wyatt, 6, and sister Brooke, 4.

Foster, Everley Dawn, born June 16 at six pounds, 12 ounces, to Trinity Haek and Andrew Foster, Garfield. Paternal grandparent is Dottie Foster, Palouse. Maternal grandparents are Gena Haek, Spokane, and Timothy Haek, Taft, Calif. Baby joins sisters Keyara, 9, and Briella, 5.
