Colfax – 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. – Flex and Flow Yoga – Suitable for all levels. Flex and Flow includes poses centered around foundation, alignment and breath, while building strength, flexibility and focus.
Friday, June 30
Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play and Learn – Bring your children to our last playgroup of the summer. Librarians provide free play and socialization in our safe and welcoming environment. Program will resume in fall.
Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Come “Build a Better World” with a discussion about how tall Mt Everest is, craft a balloon racer, and enjoy a snack during story time.
Endicott – 2 p.m. – LEGO Mindstorm – Teens and Tweens are invited to join in on the fun of LEGO Mindstorming.
Saturday, July 1
Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Drop-in Tech Time - Drop into the TEK Center to get hands-on help with basic computer skills, internet, email, social media, OverDrive and more from our WSU volunteer. Same time every Saturday.
Monday, July 3
Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Fun – Join us in “Building a Better World” with a discussion about ocean oil cleanup. Participants will make slime as a craft and enjoy a snack during storytime.
Colfax – 3:30 p.m. – Coffee Caregiver Group – If you are a caregiver in need of support, please join Melissa John from Rural Resources and other caregivers for a time of support, questions and answers.
Palouse – 6 p.m. – Red, White and Blue Floral Arrangement – Join Robin Adams, from Robin’s Nest Floral Design, for a free 4th of July Centerpiece Class including refreshments, friendship and laughs.
Tuesday, July 4
All Branches – CLOSED – All 14 branches of Whitman County Library will be closed in celebration of July 4th. Our website, catalog, digital resources and OverDrive app for audio and ebooks are always available for your convenience.
Albion – 12 p.m. – 4th of July Parade – Let’s get into the 4th of July spirit together. Join the library as we walk in the parade. Everyone is welcome to dress-up, bring a wagon or bike, and be creative with provided decorations.
Endicott – 6 p.m. – Decorated Kiddie Bike Parade – Meet at the Endicott School with your bikes, scooters, or strollers and walk in the town parade with our librarian for an enjoyable evening.
Wednesday, July 5
Oakesdale and Palouse –Joshua J. Superstar Family Performance – Joshua J. fuses side-splitting comedy, nail-biting stunts and audience participation for top-notch entertainment. Joshua J. Superstar is coming to the Oakesdale Library at 11 a.m. to perform for the Oakesdale and Farmington communities and the Palouse Library at 7 p.m.
Colfax – 4 to 7:30 p.m. – Rising Stars Summer Dance Camps – Ages 3 and up. Please contact Keri at 509-432-6961.
Malden, St. John, and Garfield – Build a Better World – Activities include games, art, science, engineering experiments and more for kids ages 0-12 years. Families are always welcome. Visit us online or call 397-4366 for specific details.

Rosalia and Tekoa - Summer Reading Programs - Join in the fun and learning this summer as we “Build a Better World.” Bring the whole family to the Rosalia Library at 10:15 a.m. or the Tekoa Library at noon.
Colfax – First Thursday Colfax – Contemporary and classic hits from the master will be played by Eric E. on West Spring Street. Enjoy the music and come check out the library's amazing outdoor/indoor book sale.
