'Red, White & Win' at First Thursday

July First Thursday in Colfax is today, July 6, with a chance to win a $350 gift basket, and Eric E., Moscow, will be on stage from 5 to 7 p.m.

Participating businesses and up to 30 vendors will offer cards that shoppers can draw from. If a flag is drawn, that card can be taken to the Explore Colfax booth on Spring Street from 3 to 7 p.m. to be entered to win. There is no limit on the number of entries.

“It should be fun,” said Valoree Gregory, Colfax unified executive director.

Gregory noted that Eric E. is pretty unique, because the audience can call out a year, and he can play a song from that year.

While she is unsure how the Fourth will impact turnout, Gregory expects most of the downtown stores to be open late.
