Endicott and Uniontown – Summer Reading Fun – Build a catapult at 10:30 a.m. in Uniontown or drop by the Endicott library at 2 p.m. for a fun afternoon of building with LEGOs.
Malden – 6 p.m. – Teen Summer Reading – Learn to make (and eat) delicious, homemade ice cream.
Saturday, July 8
Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Drop-in Tech Time – Get hands-on help with from our WSU volunteer every Saturday.
Rosalia – 6 p.m. – Teen Summer Reading – Join us for fun and food while we make homemade ice cream.
Monday, July 10
St. John – 10 a.m. – Junior Summer Reading – Bring your little ones to the “Construction Zone.”
Colton and St. John – Joshua J. Superstar Family Performance – J. J. fuses side-splitting comedy, nail-biting stunts and audience participation for top-notch entertainment. Performance at 10:30 a.m. in Colton and 5 p.m. in St. John.
St. John – 1 p.m. – Pillowcase Project – Students grades 5 and up, join the Red Cross in learning how to be prepared for a natural disaster. Topics include fire, basic first aid and coping skills. Please call 509-648-3319 to register.
Endicott – 6 p.m. – Red Cross Community Preparedness – All ages may join us in preparing communities for emergency.
Albion and LaCrosse – Book Club – Join us for a relaxing evening with neighbors in LaCrosse at 6:30 and Albion at 7 p.m.

Palouse, Rosalia and Farmington – Summer Reading Fun – Children are invited for fun and learning. Check online for details.
Colfax – 10 to 11 a.m. – Tech Tuesday: Morning Makers – Kids ages 8 and older are invited to the TEK Center for fun engineering challenges using LEGOs, recycled materials and more. Snacks and building materials provided.
Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of the Library – Friends are invited to tour Bruning Funeral Home.
Endicott – 1 to 3 p.m. – Energy Assistance – Community Action is assisting with home energy bills. Contact 800-482-3991.
Colfax – 3 to 4 p.m. – Tinker Tech Time – Control a robot, build an electronic circuit, and construct a LEGO masterpiece.
Colfax and Endicott – Family Entertainment with Joshua J. Superstar – Whitman County is bringing Joshua J. Superstar to perform in Colfax at 4 p.m. and Endicott at 6:30 p.m. Bring the whole family for top-notch amusement.
Wednesday, July 12
Colfax – 10 to 11 a.m. – Kids' Drawing Classes – Beginners’ class for ages 8 and older today 10 a.m. and tomorrow 1:30 p.m.
Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden, Oakesdale and St. John – Summer Reading Fun – Activities include games, art, science, engineering experiments and more for kids. Families are always welcome. Visit us online or call 397-4366 for details.
Albion – 12 p.m. – Summer Reading Town – Join Starr, as she builds a box town on the front lawn of the city building.
Uniontown – 3 to 4 p.m. – Tape Frames for Teens - Come in and craft a picture frame using colorful patterned tape, stickers, buttons, and flowers for a unique magnetic picture display frame. Kids age 10 and up are welcome.
Uniontown – 4 to 5 p.m. – Overdrive Help – Need help downloading audio and ebooks from the library? Come see us.
Malden – 6 p.m. – Family Movie Night – Enjoy an evening with your family while watching a classic movie.
Colfax – 7 p.m. – Pajama Storytime – Families are invited to Storytime learning with a theme of earth science and a special guest joining us for a time of relaxation through Yoga. Don’t forget to wear your PJ’s.

Rosalia and Tekoa – Summer Reading Fun – Kids and families are invited to “Build a Better World” at the library.
Colton – 3 p.m. – Blackout Poetry – Teens, bring a friend to create your own poems using written pages and sharpies.
Rosalia – 6 p.m. – Family Movie Night – Come down to the air-conditioned Rosalia library for a timeless classic.
