Cougars run 4-0 string

Whitman County Cougars played a doubleheader against Gonzaga Prep Friday in Pullman. They won the first game 9-8 with Noah Beach of Rosalia tagging a walk off bunt.

The Cougars won the second game 13-3. Tyler Horner, Brady Lees, Carson Kolter and Noah Beach had singles. Mitch Lavielle and Brayden Wells each hit doubles.

Saturday, the Cougars played a doubleheader in Sandpoint. They won the first game 11-1. Wells and Beach paired singles and Oak Held and Carson Kolter singled.

The Cougars won the second game 11-8. Eric Akesson had a single and a double. Tyler Horner, Kolby Sisk, Brady Lees, Carson Kolter, and Tomas Higgins each singled. Beach had two singles, and Held doubled.
