Cross Country musical group was scheduled to present the morning worship service at Selbu Lutheran Church this Sunday, but the program has been changed to Sunday, July 30, beginning at 10 a.m.
Audrey Nafziger Bowlin of Findlay, Ohio, two of her sons and her sister, Connie, of Spokane, and her son, camped out at the Nafziger farm Monday and Tuesday. The Bowlins will be staying in the area for three more weeks.
Dusty native and former Whitman County resident Harvey Stueckle died July 8 at his residence at Touchmark Living Center in Spokane. He was born to Henry and Katie Stueckle in 1926 near Dusty. The family later moved to the Colfax area where his father farmed. He is survived by wife Verna at the residence in Spokane Valley and two brothers, Norm of Wenatchee and Duane of Boise. Also surviving are sons Bob and Randy and two grandsons of Colfax, and Rick of Seattle.
Memorial services will be at Onecho Church on July 28 at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at 10 a.m. at the Dusty Cemetery.
Harvest operations have started in the southern suburbs of Dusty this week.
