Thursday, July 20

Colfax – 9:30 a.m. – Intro to Tai Chi – Learn about the benefits of Tai Chi, specifically with arthritis and fall prevention with Bonnie Kirkpatrick from Whitman Medical Group Thursday, July 20 and 27.

Endicott and St. John – Book Time with Ronald McDonald – Ronald is sure to entertain with a creative mix of music and magic to reinforce the value of reading for kids. Ronald is visiting Endicott Library at 10 a.m. and St. John Park at 1:30 p.m.

Colton – 6 p.m. – Book Club – All are welcome to join in our lively discussion of "Wife 22", by Melanie Gideon.

Rosalia – 6:30 p.m. – Adult Summer Reading Book Discussion – Come talk about the sensational novel, “The Other Einstein”, about Einstein's wife who is considered a thoughtful scientist in her own right.

Colfax - Hyde Out – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night - Test your knowledge and win great prizes during our trivia contest. Teams may be up to eight people - bring your group or join one upon arrival.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Ladies’ Night – Painting Party. Please RSVP at 657-3429 and remember $8 for supplies.

Friday, July 21

Uniontown – 10:30 a.m. – Summer Reading Fun – Today will be the final program with games and a picnic in the park. Bring a finger food to share. Kids who have completed their reading goal will receive a goodie bag and free book.

Malden – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – If you are a caregiver in need of support, please join Rural Resources employee and other caregivers for a time of support, questions and answers.

Malden – 6 p.m. – Adult Summer Reading Book Discussion – Join us for an exciting talk about “The Other Einstein” by Marie Benedict. (You are welcome to come even if you have not started the book.)

Saturday, July 22

St. John - Rialto – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Test your knowledge, bring your team and win great prizes.

Monday, July 24

St. John – 10 a.m. – Junior Summer Reading - Join us for stories and songs for children ages 0 to 4 years old.

Tuesday, July 25

Palouse and Farmington – Summer Reading Fun – We'll be “Building a Better World” through imagination, science, art and more. Themes and information about other programs are available on our website at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – BINGO and Pie – Seniors are invited for a rousing game of BINGO, hot coffee and sweet treats.

Rosalia – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Energy Assistance - Anita Peterson from Community Action Center will be assisting low income households with home energy costs. Call 1-800-482-3991 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – Baby and Toddler Summer Reading – Little ones and their grown-ups will sing, play and move.

Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Drop-in Tech Help – Stop by the TEK Center to get hands-on help with any technology question.

Albion – 12 p.m. – Cupcake Picnic – Build a cupcake and enjoy it under the trees while listening to stories.
