Lowes report on trip

Leaving on July 4, Willy and Anne Lowe traveled with Ed and Mae Schultz of Colfax to Sheridan, Wyo. On the way, they stopped in Three Forks, Mont., for an overnight stay at the historic Sacajawea Hotel. At Sheridan, the guys did their annual prairie dog hunt. The girls went quilt shop hopping in the area and sightseeing.

Sharon Huff traveled to Tekoa on July 15 to meet with Harold and Barbara Huff, and they headed to Kellogg for a family wedding reception. Sharon stayed overnight in Tekoa and visited with extended family July 16.

Pat Byers attended an all-class reunion in Cheney on July 15. Before returning home, she and classmates went to Spangle and ate at the Harvester.

Dave and Gail Bilow made a trip after July 4 to Goldendale to meet with their daughter, Stephanie, and her husband Jeremy and son Colten who have recreation property in the area.

Greg and Lorna Burns attended their grandsons', Duncan and Garrett Burns, Lacrosse tournament in Bozeman, Mont., this past weekend.

Willy and Anne Lowe attended the yearly Archer Reunion at Schmuck Park July 22. Those attending were: Esther (Archer) Kroll, Mike and Darlene Kroll, Adam and Erin Kroll and children, Darlene Lee, all of Colfax; Linda (Paulson) Karr, Newport; Pat and Paula Karr, Moscow; Sandy (Archer) Robinson Seattle; Steve and Betty (Pierce) Downey, Sharah Sylvester, Spokane Valley; Chris Kroll, Yakima, and Beth Paulson, Moscow. The event celebrated Esther Kroll's 92nd birthday and last living child of John and Elsie Archer who ran and owned Archer Transfer in the 1940s and 1950s.
