Healthy Tekoa Coalition representatives Diane Harp and Carrie Hubert will join nearly 2,000 substance use prevention and treatment specialists from around the world for the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America 16th annual Mid-Year Training Institute in Atlanta, Ga.
CADCA’s Mid-Year Training Institute offers more than 100 90-minute, half-day and full-day courses geared toward helping participants find solutions to the toughest substance use problems.
It will cover a wide range of topics, such as how to prevent prescription drug abuse, create tobacco-free environments, reduce impaired driving and develop policies to reduce marijuana use. Coalition representatives will hear several speakers, including Acting Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy Richard Baum, Acting Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration Chuck Rosenberg and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Kana Enomoto.
