Sounds at the Palouse Music Festival Saturday, July 29, included Heather and the Soul Motions (left) and Shiloh and the Young Guns, (above).

“That was the best festival in memory,” said Paul Smith, a volunteer organizer from the Palouse Arts Council, which puts on the day-long event at Hayton-Greene Park. Proceeds benefit the Palouse Community Center and the Arts Council.
