Aerial adventure day slated at Kruegel Park

Pullman Police Department has been working with organizations and clubs in the area to plan Pullman’s first Aerial Adventure Day Saturday, Aug. 12, at Kruegel Park, 705 SE Dilke Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be free to the public and will celebrate National Model Aviation Day.

There will be demonstrations and shows by Spokane FPV, WSU Robotics, Palouse Region Radio Control Flyers, WSU Aerospace Club, Amateur Modelers Association and other groups.

Pullman Police Department will unveil its new drones with the public encouraged to take a closer look at the latest policing equipment.

In addition, educational materials and resources will be available to assist recreational drone pilots in complying with local laws.

Pullman Subway will provide food service.
