'Kiss the Pig' fundraiser underway

The second edition of Kiss the Pig, a fundraiser sponsored by Colfax and Community Fund (CACF), is set to get underway this week. Organizers plan to have donation jars distributed around Colfax by today.

Kiss the Pig started last year as a means to draw more interest to the year-long fundraising drive conducted by CACF and generate more funds. The fundraiser added approximately $650 to the total raised last year, which topped out at $20,088. That was the best the drive had done in four years.
