Two awarded CCS scholarships

Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation announced they will award more than $600,000 in scholarships to more than 500 students at Spokane Falls and Spokane Community Colleges for the 2017-18 academic year. Brenda Willett of Tekoa and Jose Altamirano of Pullman are among recipients this year.

The foundation's core priority is providing scholarships and program support to help students in eastern Washington achieve their educational goals.
