'Paper Tigers' slated at Empire

Healthy Tekoa will show the film "Paper Tigers" for free Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. at the Empire Theatre. This film is for coaches, parents, caregivers, mentors and community leaders interested in learning about adverse childhood experiences and how that affects youth behaviors. This is not a film for children.

A coalition meeting will be Sept. 12, at 9 a.m. at Kathy Kramer's home for the start-of-the-year meeting. A light snack will be provided.

A "Guiding Good Choices" workshop for the teen years to maintain communication will start Oct. 25.
