Oakesdale topped Wilbur/Creston in three games Tuesday on open the season. The Nighthawks were led by Logan Reed who put down 17 kills. Madison Shrope had 25 assists.
Transfer student Brooklyn Henley hit four aces for Oakesdale and had seven digs.
Scores for the Nighthawk win were 25-13 25-8 and 25-21.
St. John/Endicott hosted Liberty and posted a 25-11 win in the first game. The Lancers turned it around to win the next three games and the match, 25-20 25-17 and 25-19.
Sophomore Maisie Burnham had 16 kills for the Lancers, and hit four aces. Kendhyl Fletcher, also a sophomore, put up 18 assists.,
Senior Jadyn Corder had eight kills for the Eagles, and rapped five aces. Glory Dickerson had 13 assists.
The Eagles are scheduled to host another NE foe, Davenport, Monday night.
Garfield/Palouse traveled to Dayton Tuesday, and the Bulldog hosts prevailed 25-18 25-13 and 25-17. Hanna Becker on Dayton had 14 kills and eight blocks.
