Oakesdale's Perry named Coach of Year

Oakesdale Track Coach Cap Perry has been named by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as the 2017 Girls High School Coach of the Year for the state of Washington.

Perry led his team to the state girls 1B championship in May after tying for the championship in 2016.

With just one senior on the team, the girls beat out Mount Vernon Christian to take the 2017 title.
