Etol Lillard, who has lived in Endicott for a number of years, recently moved to Vero Beach, Fla. Her neighbor, Bob Curry, drove her rental moving truck across country to Vero Beach in six days. He flew out of Orlando last Thursday, just ahead of hurricane Irma.
Etol flew to Florida where she is now residing with long-time friends. Vero Beach is on the opposite side of Florida from the hurricane's track.
Sharon Huff, Gail Bilow, Sue Bafus and Anne Lowe hosted the annual Corn Party at the home of Sue Bafus Friday, Sept. 8. Forty residents attended and were extremely happy that the smoke had departed prior to the last outdoor party of the year.
Kathy Schmick started placing painted rocks around town for anyone to find and re-hide. The community is having great fun finding these rocks, hiding them again and making more to hide around town. It is proving to be quite an adventure for everyone.
