Port undergoes annual audit

The Port of Whitman County is undergoing its 2017 audit. As of Monday, one to two more days remained of state auditors on site, looking at payroll programs, on-call contracting and more for what is a financial statement audit and accountability audit.

The exit interview will be in October.

“This is a real good audit team,” said Port Commissioner John Love. “Very cooperative, I was quite favorably impressed.”
