The former Associated Agency Group (AAG) Insurance in Colfax is now NFP Property & Casualty.
NFP Corporation, based in New York, N.Y., acquired AAG in June and has been converting the name on offices since.
Karine Moll, senior account manager, remains the lone employee at the Colfax location on Main Street.
With more than 3,800 employees, NFP is an insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty, retirement and individual private client solutions through licensed subsidiaries and affiliates.
NFP was ranked the fourth largest U.S.-based privately owned broker and the fifth largest benefits broker by global revenue by Business Insurance, the ninth largest property & casualty agency by total 2016 P&C revenue by Insurance Journal, the 11th largest global insurance broker by Best’s Review and the 12th largest broker of U.S. business by Business Insurance.
“People always ask me what the name, the initials, stand for,” said Moll. “I can’t really say. It doesn’t stand for any one thing.”
Formerly known as National Financial Partners, the company now goes only by NFP Corp.
