Colfax Coach Sue Doering relays a few instructions to her players in the homecoming match last Thursday against Asotin. Doering now needs two more match wins to reach the 900 career mark.

Colfax volleyball teams rolled out two more three-set wins in NE league competition during the week to move their league mark to 7-0. The Bulldogs took out Asotin in three on the home court last Thursday and then traveled to Tekoa Tuesday for a three-set win over the Timberwolves.
They will play at Liberty tonight, and then travel to Reardan Saturday.
Colfax coach Sue Doering, who last week figured she could bag a 900th career win at Tekoa, made another check of the books and now figures she needs two more match wins to hit 21 for the season, enough to get to the 900 mark.
Doering currently stands at 898 career wins and 221 defeats.
Thursday on the home court against the Panthers in the second league round the Bulldogs put down a strong serving game to nail the three-set win, 25-9 25-15 and 25-14.
Asotin actually scratched a 13-12 lead over the Bulldogs in the second game, but Greta Geier went to the service line and hit seven straight for a 20-13 lead. Geier finished the match with a 17-17 serving mark for the match.
Kinsie Miller and Anna Hukriede put the serving string together for Asotin.
In the first game Kylie Kackman laced a nine-serve string to run the score to 20-13 on the way to a game win.
At Tekoa Tuesday, Colfax finished with a 25-10 25-10 and 25-8 against the Timberwolves. Kylie Kackman put up 19 assists against the T-wolves.
