Memory loss class slated at hospital

A four-week program designed to help people cope with memory loss will begin Nov. 3 in the Educational Building of the Whitman County Hospital complex at 1200 W. Fairview Street in Colfax. The

The free classes will be held mid-mornings on four consecutive Fridays.

They will be presented by the Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alzwa.org

Care partners, a friend or relative, will join each session.

Participants will learn how to stay socially active and keep their minds engaged.
