Richard Morgan of Woodinville shows granddaughter Abbie Herbel of Lakewood how to operate the controls of an International crawler tractor while they make the rounds Saturday morning at the Morgan ranch along the Palouse River. The plowing bee had 20 tractors in action on the 26-acre field. An estimated 150 people attended with 137 signing the guest book and 122 served lunch by LJ's Barbecue of Pullman. Tractor traffic Saturday became more congested as tractors of all sizes from different years of production circled the 26 acre field on the flat at the Morgan ranch.
