Weathercaster visits St. John

Briana Bermemsolo, weathercaster for KREM in Spokane, was the special guest speaker for the early release program at the St. John Library Oct. 18. Forty-one students in preschool through fifth grade learned about how weather forecasts are made and reported. Each student recorded a quick weather report using a microphone and camera. Highlights of the visit were shown on the next morning’s news. Other subjects for St. John after school programs this year are basic first aid, money management and world insects, according to Clancy Pool, library branch manager.
