Deanna Elizabeth Aeschliman, daughter of John Corwin (Cory) and Rosemarie Aeschliman of Colfax, and Casey Heath Clark, son of Randy and Ellen Clark of Gunnison, Colo., were married Sept. 30 in a setting of full fall colors outside a log cabin venue in Gunnison, Colo.
Officiating was their mutual friend and mentor, Ryan Pringle, who with his family, runs the Waunita Hot Springs Ranch where Deanna and Casey met and worked the five previous years. As requested, he conducted the ceremony in the short style with the theme verse Genesis 2:18, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." He concluded with verses from Colossians 3:12-14 which includes, "forgive as Christ forgave you.”
Deanna wore her mother's wedding dress. The wedding colors were burgundy, grey, denim and western boots. Sunflower bouquets and a backdrop of vivid fall foliage were mirrored by a nearby pond.
Maids of honor were Deanna's two sisters, Melissa Aeschliman and Tiffany Doornink.
Best man was Connor Clark, brother of the groom.
The bride was welcomed in by Kylie, daughter of friends Courtney and groomsman, Kolby Pringle, tugging with all her might on a radio flyer wagon over a bumpy lawn carrying Deanna's niece, Elliana (Ellie) Isabelle Doornink, daughter of Deanna's older sister and husband, Tiffany and Greg Doornink. Both tots were dressed in white tutu dresses with sunflower accents, denim jackets and cowgirl boots. Groomsman and friend of the groom, Erik Seidel, escorted bridesmaid Emma Tilbury, friend of the bride, and the ring bearer, the couple's beloved black labrador retriever, Boone.
Following the noon ceremony, guests were welcomed to a pizza reception lunch. Further festivities included a pie cutting and pie ceremony, the bouquet toss, toast by the parents, best man and maids of honor, the shoe game and western dancing.
The newlyweds are residing in Gunnison where Deanna works on a ranch and Casey guides expeditions among other endeavors.
