Thursday, Nov. 9

Colton - 3 to 6 p.m. – Free Medicare Help – Drop-in for free, impartial help to meet your needs.

St. John - 3:30 to 5 p.m. – Tinker Tech Time – Grades K-5 are invited to meet monthly at the school for a variety of activities including Snap Circuits, Lego Mindstorms, Lego building, Code-a-Pillar, Ozobots, Magnetix and more.

Tekoa - 4 to 5 p.m. – Ladies Craft Circle – Enjoy an afternoon filled with crafts and friendship, and learn something new.

Albion - 5 to 7:30 p.m. – Knit Night and Fireside Chats – Learn to knit, finish a craft project or relax with friends.

Friday, Nov. 10

Colfax, Malden, Palouse, Rosalia and Uniontown – Early Learning and Playtime – Storytime and playgroups offer education, enjoyment and socialization for both parents and children. Come join in the fun.

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 - 12

All fourteen branches of Whitman County Library are closed in honor of Veterans Day. Our website, catalog and online resources are always available at your convenience.

Monday, Nov. 13

Palouse, St John and Tekoa – Green Berets in Vietnam – Hank Cramer, folksinger and historian, shares the story of his father, Captain Harry Cramer and his Special Forces. St. John – 6:30 p.m. – PJ Storytime – Put on your jammies and join Miss Trinette for an evening full of activities.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

Palouse and Colfax – Water, Wind and Fire – Saving our farms, forests and fish while strengthening the economy will be presented with a complimentary lunch at the Palouse Community Center at noon and again in Colfax at 6 p.m. with light refreshments.

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. – Drop-in TECH Help – Get your technology questions answered with one-on-one assistance.

Endicott - 6:30 p.m. – Cubelets – Attention teens: See what these little robot blocks are all about. Each of the 17 types of cubelets has a special skill. When combined, the robot building possibilities are endless.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

The Center in Colfax – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Free Medicare Help – Join SHIBA volunteers Dan and Joyce Leonard for free impartial help to meet your needs. Pearl Bouchard, Navigator for WA State’s HealthPlanFinder, will also be available.

Endicott, Garfield, Palouse and Uniontown – Afterschool Fun – Contact your local library or view our online calendar for specifics. Endicott has a special program with Cubelets, sponsored by Washington State Library; Palouse will explore Brain Science.

Colfax – 5 to 7 p.m. – Small Business Showcase Networking Event – Who’s Who in Colfax with special guest Pavlo Rudenko, Ph. D, Founder and (CTO), TriboTEX – Colfax based company.

Thursday, Nov. 16

Colfax Hyde Out – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge and WIN. Extra points if your team presents their library cards. Special music category.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Ladies Night: Nickel Auction. – Have items around your house you’ve been meaning to donate? Auction them off to your friends instead. Be sure to bring your spare change for your purchases.
