Pullman Chamber honors 4 members

Four Pullman Chamber volunteers were honored Nov. 2 during the 100th annual Pullman Chamber of Commerce awards banquet and general meeting held at Banyan’s. Awards were given in four categories to recognize volunteers and community members for their support.

Jill Bielenberg was recognized as the Chamber Member of the Year. Jill has served on the National Lentil Festival on the judging panel for the Cook-off and in 2015, she joined the committee as the coordinator for the Legendary Lentil Cook-off.

Rosalie Harms was awarded the Marshall A. Neill Community Service Award which goes to an outstanding individual in the Pullman community. Rosalie is a member of the Grand Avenue Greenway Committee, Pullman Historical Society, Friends of Gladish Advisory Committee, Pullman Human Rights Commission, the Pullman Regional Hospital Women’s Auxiliary, PEO and Friends of Hospice.

Scott Adams, CEO Pullman Regional Hospital, was awarded the Civic Improvement Award. Under his leadership the hospital continues to expand and innovate for Pullman and the surrounding region.

Francis Benjamin was recognized and awarded the Chamber Hall of Fame modern category award. This award is presented to chamber members for outstanding service and dedication. Francis is a past Pullman City Council member and has sat on several boards including the Pullman Council on Aging as well as Southeast Washington Economic Development Association and the Palouse Knowledge Corridor. He is currently the Chair Elect of Pullman Kiwanis. He’s also the co-chair of Pullman 2040.
