Happy Thanksgiving! All fourteen branches of Whitman County Library are closed to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Our website, catalog and online resources are always available at your convenience.

Palouse - 7:45 a.m. - 13th Annual Turkey Leg Fun Run - Have a great Thanksgiving morning in Palouse. The fun run begins at the Green Frog Café with donuts, coffee and hot cider. Join us in fundraising for children, juveniles and YA books.

Friday, Nov. 24

All 14 branches of Whitman County Library are closed to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Washington Anytime Library is always available on Libby and Overdrive Apps for downloadable audio and ebooks for your enjoyment.

Saturday, Nov. 25

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - Drop-in Tech Time – Drop-in with all your technology questions and receive individualized help from WSU volunteer, Tara.

Sunday, Nov. 26

Colfax - November - "Mustached" books are on display and hidden in the library. To help raise awareness for men's health issues, patrons are encouraged to check out a "mustached" book or take a turn in our mustache photo booth.

Monday, Nov. 27

Colton - 10:30 a.m. - Storytime - Kids ages one to five are welcome to join in on the fun of stories, crafts and games.

LaCrosse - 2:30 to 5 p.m. - Adult Coloring - Join us for a relaxing time of creativity, coloring, conversations and refreshments.

Colfax - 6 to 7 p.m. - Fitness Boot Camp - Fitness instructor, Carissa Little, will whip you into shape with fast results. Remember your hand weights, yoga mats and plenty of water. For registration, email [email protected]

Tuesday, Nov. 28

Farmington and Rosalia - Storytime - Bring your little ones to this fun and exciting group to learn, grow, laugh and share.

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - BINGO and Pie - Seniors, 65 and older, join us for an exciting game of BINGO and mouthwatering pie.

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - Tech Tuesday. - Need tech help? Get hands-on help with Microsoft Imagine Academy, downloadable audio and ebooks, basic computer skills, Internet, email and more.

Tekoa - 3 to 4 p.m. - Cubelets - Come see what these little robot blocks are all about. Each of the 17 types of Cubelets has a special skill; when combined, the robot building possibilities are endless.

Colfax - 6 to 7 p.m. - YinVasa - Increase circulation and flexibility while ending your day feeling calm and grounded.

Wednesday, Nov. 29

Albion, Garfield and Oakesdale - Storytime - Through stories, song, rhythm and rhyme, children gain listening and pre-reading experience as well as increase cognitive development.

Colfax - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Math Games for Kids – Students in grades 3 to 5 are invited to FREE FUN-TIVITIES and MATH GAMES with WSU student volunteers.

Thursday, Nov. 30

Colfax, LaCrosse, and Tekoa - Storytime - Children and families are invited for all kinds of learning and fun.

Palouse - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Cubelets - Students in grades K to 5 are invited to learn about robots with these little pre-programmed blocks.

Tekoa - 4 to 5 p.m. - Ladies Craft Circle - Enjoy an afternoon filled with crafts, friendship and learning something new.

Albion - 5 to 7:30 - Knit Night and Fireside Chats - Learn to knit, bring any craft project you are working on and visit. Colton - 5:30 p.m. - BINGO and Pie - Bring a friend for BINGO, sweets, prizes and socialization.
