Rosalia Lions Club will welcome Santa Claus Saturday, Dec. 2, with local shopping and craft fair welcoming in the holiday and gift-buying season.
The 21st annual Rosalia Holiday Market will open at the Rosalia Community Center at 9 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. A wide gambit of wares and handmade items will be available including wood crafts, essential oils, wool goods, quilts, jewelry, holiday decorations, homemade bowls, skin care products and paper crafts.
There will also be a professional Christmas mini photo session set up outside, but it will move into the community center for adverse weather.
Free pictures with Santa begin at 10 a.m. at The Budding Rose Art Gallery until 1 p.m. Children can tell St. Nick their wishes and parents can check ‘pictures with Santa’ off their lists.
Gifted Grannys will be open special holiday hours that Saturday as well from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those still inspired by the gift-giving spirit can contact the Inland Northwest Bank branch in Rosalia where the Rosalia Giving Tree has more than 40 tags for local children. This is the largest request for items the giving tree there has had. Tags can be picked up at the Rosalia location for a local boy or girl and gifts returned wrapped and labeled by Dec. 8. Those wanting to contribute without getting an individual tag can contact the bank branch.
