Jones Truck & Implement donation

Casey Jones of Jones Truck & Implement presented a check for $5,000 to Whitman County Historical Society President Greg Partch, Theresa Dale, Perkins House director, and Ed Garretson, archives director, Friday when JTI celebrated 77 years in business by holding a Founders and Customer Appreciation Day at their store in Colfax.

As a way of honoring their family's long-time involvement in the community, the company made the presentation to help the society achieve its goal of hiring a paid director/coordinator.
