Wrestlers place fifth at Liberty invitational meet

The Colfax-Garfield/Palouse combo placed fifth among 16 teams Saturday in the invitational meet at Liberty. The team totaled 205 points.

Top four teams at the meet were Riverside 337, St. Maries 323, Hanford 228, and Liberty 221.

Bulldog Nolan Burrill won the 113-pound class, and Augie Allenbach placed third in the 285 class. Colfax Wednesday was scheduled to host Potlatch and Davenport in the first of three home meets. Their next home show will be a dual meet with Springdale Jan. 17.

113-Nolan Burrill bye, bye, over Cole Roman-Riverside in semi, over Adam Caudle -Clarkston for first place.

145-Ben Ahmann to Carter Murphy, bye, over Gabe Hill-St. Maries, to Tyler Ward-Newport.

152- Gabe Ahmann bye, to Zach Walton-Clarkston, to Bert Bennett-Selkrik.

160-Dakota Hall over Jonah Qwik-Liberty, to Jared Lentz- Riverside, over Liam Lonam-Medical Lake, to Bailey Hunton-Davenport in consolation semi.

170-Dane Hall over Andy Ortiz-LRS, over Jt Tachell- Davenport, to Sammy DesRoches-Riverside in semi final, over Stephen Tolan-St.Maries in consolation semi, to Tyrell Crossley-Mary Walker in consolation final for fourth place.

182-Mason Miller over Dreysan Shubert-Clarkston, to Jedd Cupp-Newport, over Nick Bridges-Medical Lake, to Chad Dickerson-St Maries.

195-Johnathan Logan bye, to Delbert Lambson -St. Maries, bye, to Jonathon Gralopp-Medical Lake.

220-Chayne Aeschliman to Aarron Phelps-LRS, over Gio Bossio-Riverside, to Joseph Qwik--Liberty.

285-Augie Allenbach bye, over Charlie Harrington-Liberty, to Nick Schurger-Mary Walker in semi, on forfeit in consolation semi, over Trevor Morris -Davenport for third place.
