School tours, voters' forum set

Two tours are scheduled of the Colfax School District facilities leading up to the $18.9 million bond vote in February. A tour will be held Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m., beginning at the high school cafeteria, and Feb. 5, also at 6:30 p.m. at the cafeteria. The tour will cover areas at the high school and Jennings Elementary School.

The district has added a series of pages of information on its website about the bond.

“If anybody has questions, I’d ask them to call the district office. I’d be happy to sit down and talk with them,” said Superintendent Jerry Pugh.

In addition to the tours, the Pullman chapter of the League of Women Voters will hold a forum Jan. 23 at the Colfax library at which Pugh will answer questions about the bond.
