Barber shop to move back

Colfax barber Terry Vietz has announced plans to move his shop again. His new location will be his former location at 209 N. Main.

For the past 18 months he has been located at 213 N. Main, where his shop occupied half of the front of a building which for years housed the Gazette print shop, later a restaurant and then a consignment clothing store.

Vietz said he anticipates a smooth move back to the former site where he will be able to plug his equipment into the same outlets. He will rent the shop space from Kim Nguyen, who acquired the former shop space with her purchase of the Masonic Building.

The two barber shop spaces bracket the Gazette office on Main Street. He has been north of the Gazette and will move his shop back to the south side of the Gazette.

Before moving to Main Street, Vietz was located for 19 years in a shop along Wall Street. He barbered in Pullman for 14 years before coming to Colfax.

Vietz resides in Diamond.
