Colfax, LaCrosse, and Tekoa – Storytime – Take your kids on a reading adventure, complete with art, crafts and snacks.
St. John School – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Tinker Tech Time – Students will engage in STEM Snap Circuits, LEGO Mindstorms, LEGO building, Code-a-Pillar, Ozobots, Magnetix and more. Remember to register to reserve your place.
Albion – 4 p.m. – Thursday Art – Bring a friend for arts and crafts. Materials are provided by your library.

Colfax – 12 p.m. – Fitting Room – Six week, women's interactive book study of Kelly Minter's “The Fitting Room.”
Malden – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – All caregivers, paid and unpaid, are welcome to join this group.

Colfax – 1 to 5 p.m. – Rural Alliance High School Art Show – The Community is invited to browse paintings, drawings, collage, pottery and more from area high school students on exhibit in The Center Jan. 6 – 12 during regular hours.
Monday, Jan. 8
St. John – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Tech Monday – Drop in for individual help with questions about your computer or device.
LaCrosse – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Pie and BINGO – Adults of ALL ages are invited for a rousing game of BINGO plus tasty sweets.
Colfax – 4 p.m. – WCL Trustees Board Meeting – Community members are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings.
Colfax – 5 to 6 p.m. – Rural Alliance Art Reception – Join your friends and neighbors in celebrating the talented high school artists from all over Whitman County. Come browse the artwork and enjoy refreshments.
Tekoa – 6 to 7 p.m. – QPR Suicide Prevention Training – Let’s make sure everyone in our community knows how much they matter. Join Diane Harp for this workshop about “Question, Persuade and Refer” suicide prevention techniques.
LaCrosse and Albion – Book Club – Join us for a lively discussion and create new friendships over a good book.
Tuesday, Jan. 9
St. John – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play and Learn – Weekly program for preschoolers and their grown-ups to play and socialize.
Colfax – 12 to 1 p.m. – Tech Tuesday: Cell Phone Help – Need tips for operating your cell phone? Need help setting up a new device? Just want to learn the basics? Will Gillespie from Inland Cellular is answering android and iPhone questions.
Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – BINGO and Pie – Seniors are invited for an exciting game of BINGO, fabulous prizes and yummy pie.
Palouse – 3:30 p.m. – Afterschool Fun-tivities – The library is teaming up with WSU/CCE for a stupendous STEM activity.
Rosalia – 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Pajama Storytime – Get comfy in your jammies, grab your favorite stuffed animal, and join us for stories, games, cookies and cocoa, plus a special wintery craft.
Wednesday, Jan. 10
Albion and Oakesdale – Storytime – Kiddos and caregivers, come enjoy an educational and interactive storytime together.
LaCrosse, St. John and Tekoa – Afterschool FUN – Come to the library after school for games, crafts and much more.
Endicott – 3:30 p.m. – "Passport to Preparedness" – K-5 graders will learn what to do in a natural disaster and to build a supply kit with the American Red Cross. Topics will cover house fires, earthquakes, lightning storms, floods and snow.
Uniontown – 5 to 6 p.m. – Adult Craft Night – Enjoy an hour of crafting, creativity and camaraderie at the library.
Thursday, Jan. 11
Rosalia – 10:15 a.m. – Tiny Tinkers – Babies and toddlers will enjoy 30 minutes of science and sensory exploration.
Albion – 5 to 7:30 p.m. – Knit Night and Fireside Chats – Join your neighbors for an evening of crafting and socializing.
Colfax Hyde Out – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge, and WIN fantastic prizes. Remember to bring your library card for a bonus point. Special Whitman County history category.
