The City of Tekoa hired Steve Haxton of Tekoa as its new building inspector at the Jan. 2 city council meeting. Haxton takes over for Zach Lanham, who submitted a letter in November saying he would like to vacate the position. The city interviewed three candidates Dec. 28.
