Thursday, Jan. 18

Colfax – 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. – Blood Drive – Save lives by donating blood. Go to inbcsaves.org and avoid the wait.

Colfax, Colton and Farmington – 3:30 p.m. – Third Thursday – Fun activities, crafts and games at the library after school.

Tekoa – 4 to 5 p.m. – Ladies Craft Circle – Join us for crafts, friendship and learning something new together each week.

Colton – 6 p.m. – Book Club – Join your friends for an engaging conversation on the book “A Yellow Raft in Blue Water.”

Rosalia – 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Parenting Workshop Series – Healthy Tekoa Coalition and DSHS are offering a free, six week parenting class with paid babysitting and other incentives. Pre-registration is required. Call 284-3121 for more information.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Ladies Night: Painting Party. – Bring a girlfriend and snack to share while we get creative. Please RSVP with Tia at 657-3429 and note the $8 supply fee.

Malden – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – Rural Resources provides a place where family and caregivers can share experiences and strategies to support each other. Join us the first and third Thursdays of the month.

Palouse – 1 p.m. – All about the Brain – Tweens/teens are invited to our exciting education and exploration of the brain.

Malden – 6 to 8 p.m. – Teen Game Night – Bring a friend, drink hot chocolate, and play computer, board and card games.

Saturday, Jan. 20

St. John – 9 a.m. – Book Club – Join your neighbors for a rousing discussion of “The Homecoming of Samuel Lake.”

Colfax – 5 to 7 p.m. – Molly Rice Art Reception – Join your community and artist, Molly Rice, for an opening reception and refreshments while browsing her stunning exhibit of mixed media art. Exhibit open for viewing Jan. 20 – Mar. 31.

Oakesdale – 5 to 7 p.m. – Bingo and Pie – Come in out of the cold and into the library for Bingo, prizes and pie.

Monday, Jan. 22

Rosalia – 3:30 p.m. – Teen Advisory Council – Help decide teen events at the library and voice your suggestions.

Garfield – 6 p.m. – DoTerra Scrubs – Sarah Anderson shows us how to soothe tired skin by making a natural scrub.

LaCrosse – 6:30 p.m. – Book Club – Bring a friend and a snack to share while we talk about “The Ice Princess.”

Tuesday, Jan. 23

Colfax – 12 to 1 p.m. – Tech Tuesday. Tax resources – Are you prepared for tax season? Accountant extraordinaire, Shirley Cornelius, gives an overview of software, state and federal forms, deadlines and free or reduced cost tax help.

Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Bingo and Pie – Seniors are invited to enjoy an exciting game of bingo and tasty treats.

Palouse – 3:30 p.m. – Afterschool Fun-tivities – The library is teaming up with WSU for fantastically fun STEM activities.

Colfax – 7 p.m. – Voter Forum – Learn about important issues on the February ballot with the League of Women Voters.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

Albion and Oakesdale – Storytime – Kiddos will make friends, do crafts, engage in interactive stories and gain literacy skills.

Garfield – 12:15 p.m. – Fun with STEM Storytime – Bring your littles ones to explore science, technology and math.

Colfax, Endicott and Tekoa – Crazy 8’s – Kids, sign-up for math gone wild. Crazy 8s is a fun, frenzied and FREE after school program which is guaranteed to knock your socks off. Call your library branch for details.

LaCrosse – 1 p.m. – Early Release Wednesday – Kids ages 6 and older are invited for stories, songs and crafts at the library.

Thursday, Jan. 25

Farmington – 2:30 p.m. – Book Club – Meet new people, learn something new, chat and help decide our next selection.

Palouse – 3:30 p.m. – Knots and How to Tie Them – Learn simple and complex knots from “My First Book of Knots.”

Colton – 5:30 p.m. – Bingo and Pie – All adults are welcome to join in the fun of Bingo and scrumptious pie.

Rosalia – 6 to 8 p.m. – Book Club – Looking for something new to read or a fun activity with friends? Join book club.
